Tormarton Picnic Site, M4 J18, South Gloucestershire

I've been to this cruising ground before: in the summer of 2011, in the winter as well.  It is located a short distance south of M4 J18, off the A46, in South Gloucestershire, about 100 miles west of London.

The car park is large with picnic tables.  I believe dogging happens at night-time; but in daytime it's too busy to do anything right here.  The Highways Agency, who own the actual picnic area, stripped the hedgerows of the place, so it's a little more open.  But there are no houses or villages or any residential buildings near by.

But worry not, because you only have to get out of the car and walk into the long tract of woodland and you'll find lots going on.

This is one of the busiest and best cruising areas in the entire country - gay, straight, TVs, TS, twinks, muscle, there is something for everyone here.

It is also a beauty spot with views over rolling fields, woodlands and hills, all the way to the faint blue outline of the Welsh mountains and the Severn Estuary.  But enough of the scenery, when you enter the wood you'll be ready to do a lot of walking.

There are many paths and the wood is dense and goes a long way.  There is a drystone wall that separates the wood from a lane to a mobile phone transmitting mast.  On the other side is a large ploughed field - currently very muddy - with the Cotswold Way footpath running alongside it.

Now, in the woods, there are plenty of hideyholes.  You can explore all day here.  You can walk right down the hill, over the fence and be on a high grassy bank above the M4.  This is where men sunbathe naked in the summer and it often sees wild orgies.

The whole area - the fields, woods and meadows - is all cruisy and well-frequented even at this damp, bleak time of the year.  It's better in summer when it's a joy to walk around naked or in swimwear.

How was my visit?

Well I had 7 encounters with horny West Country men and an old tranny wearing a glittery top.  So well worth the drive from home to get here!
